A former MLA P Vishnuvardhana Reddy and sitting Kalwakurthy MLA Challa Vamsichand Reddy belonging to Telangana Congress have unveiled a high drama on Friday morning at a high-profiled wedding at N-Convention Centre in the city. What was reportedly started as arguments had flared up into a full-blown brawl.
Hyderabad: A former MLA P Vishnuvardhana Reddy and sitting Kalwakurthy MLA Challa Vamsichand Reddy belonging to Telangana Congress have unveiled a high drama on Friday morning at a high-profiled wedding at N-Convention Centre in the city. What was reportedly started as arguments had flared up into a full-blown brawl. Both the leaders have came to ‘blows’ followed by a verbal duel, and ended up lodging complaints against each other at Madhapur police station.
After finding it that the open brawl would affect the image of the Congress, senior leaders have come to the opinion that it was an act of indiscipline. The leadership is getting ready to take punitive action against the one found guilty of misbehaviour.
Telangana CLP leader K Jana Reddy and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president tried to bring curtains down on their fight. Jana drove down to the residence of Vamsi in the city even as party sources said that the Kalwakurthi MLA has complained to the party bigwigs in New Delhi about the incident, apart from explaining his innocence in the entire episode.
