MP Srihari to visit Surat to study modalities
MP Kadiyam Srihari will be on a study tour of Surat city in Gujarat from January 2 as part of plans to set up an integrated Textile Park in Warangal.
Warangal: MP Kadiyam Srihari will be on a study tour of Surat city in Gujarat from January 2 as part of plans to set up an integrated Textile Park in Warangal.
In the second phase of the study tour, Srihari and other leaders will be visiting Bhiwandi in Maharashtra and Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. The government constituted a committee to conduct a study and prepare a report on the proposed textile park. Srihari is the Chairman of the Committee. On completion of their study tours, members of the committee will submit a report to the State government before January 31. Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Kadiyam Srihari said the Centre gave its nod for setting up a Sainik School in Telangana. He pointed out that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had given his consent for setting up the Sainik School in Warangal.
He said efforts are being made to ensure that the Centre sanctions an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for Warangal. Srihari said Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao was focusing on the progress of Warangal district.
