Rowdy sheets against child labour employers
The Hyderabad city police have opened rowdy sheets against nearly 50 persons who had employed children in hazardous industries in the Old City. According to sources, the South Zone police have opened the rowdy sheets against the employers as they had exploited children and endangered their lives by engaging them in hazardous works.

It may be mentioned that the city police has rescued over 300 children, mostly hailing from Bihar, from various places in the Old City. APPA renamed Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana on Friday issued an order renaming the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, Hyderabad as Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy (RBVRR) Telangana State Police Academy.
The order said this notification would come into force with immediate effect. The renaming of the academy was done in view of the bifurcation of the State and in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.
