Adilabad: Fire accident occurred in a stationary passenger train at Adilabad railway station in the early hours of Thursday. On noticing the fire, the railway officials informed the Fire Services Department. Firefighters arrived at the accident spot and doused flames. Last compartment of Adilabad-Parli passenger train was completely burnt in fire. However, no loss of life was reported. Railway officials suspect that short-circuit might be the reason for the fire. Circle Inspector Sainath said that the police registered a case and took up investigation.
