Hyderabad: Drivers working with the IT industry have been urged to realise their importance and feel responsibility to ensure safety of their passengers, especially women.Addressing the second training and appraisal session organised by Telangana State Cabs and Bus Operators’ Association (TSCBOA) in collaboration with Cyberabad Police at GE I Labs at Hitech City on Friday evening, the experts described the drivers as the backbone of transport and IT industries and requested them to stay alert and help local authorities in making Hyderabad the safest city in the world. By staying alert, drivers could make a big difference and silence those who were accusing the entire fraternity for some bad incidents that occurred in the past, they said.

Drivers could make everyone realise that their profession was equally respectable and responsible like others, they added. Synchrony Financials CEO Faisal Khan, iLabs General Manager Ramesh Gopigiri, Cyberabad Traffic Training Centre Inspector Shankar, Madhapur Traffic Inspector Narsing Rao, TSCBOA president Syed Nizamuddin and secretary K Srinivas Rao addressed the training session of drivers.
