Karimnagar: Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers’ union will join hands with the State government to complete the most prestigious programme “Mission Kakatiya” in a transparent manner. It will help the TRS government in eliminating corruption, if any, in the works relating to the Mission Kakatiya.

Telangana non-gazetted officers, who had already contributed their one-day salary for renovation tanks, will form special teams along with agriculture officers and Irrigation Department engineers to keep vigil on the ongoing works and create awareness among the farmers about the benefits of soil which will enrich the farmlands.

Speaking to the Hans India, TNGOs district president Maram Jadadishwar said they would pay special attention to the renovation of tanks and would take the issue to the notice of the state government through toll-free number if there was no quality in the work. If necessary they could directly complaint to Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, he said.

TNGO Karimnagar unit general secretary Vemula Sugunakar Reddy said renovation of tanks was necessary to achieve the dream of golden Telangana. As part of the state-wide programme, about 500 employees have decided to participate in Mission Kakatiya activity on Sunday and work in excavation of Peer tank on the outskirts of Karimnagar town. TJAC chairman M Kodandaram will participate in a programme at Girmapur tank under Medchal mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
