KCR predicts TRS win in 2019 polls. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday exuded confidence that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would regain power in the State in 2019 elections also.
Nalgonda: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday exuded confidence that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would regain power in the State in 2019 elections also. Speaking at an interactive orientation sessions of the TRS-elected representatives at Nagarjuna Sagar, KCR said the TRS-elected representatives should strive for solution of the issues of the people.

The elected representatives, who serve the people sincerely, would definitely get re-elected by the people in the next election, he added. Expressing displeasure over degradation of the values of the politicians in the public, he opined that amassing money should not be the goal of politicians.
“We should work to bring faith in the people. We have achieved Telangana State by facing hardships and our ultimate goal should be serving people,” he said. “We are first generation elected representatives of Telangana State. There is a need to bring an opinion in the public that we are working differently than our predecessors,” the Chief Minister felt.
He informed that a day-long interactive orientation session would be conducted once in six months for TRS-elected representatives. Using the Google map, the Chief Minister has explained to the MPs, Ministers and TRS MLAs about the irrigation schemes planned by the State government.
He said the government has prepared a plan to utilise the river water to the maximum without giving scope for disputes and minimising the submergence of the areas He opined that Palamuru and Kalvakurthi irrigation projects needed re-engineering.
