Hyderabad: Severe heat wave conditions prevailed on Saturday in many parts of Adilabad, Warangal, Hyderabad, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Karimnagar districts. The maximum temperatures changed slightly in the State. They were markedly above normal at a few places.
The highest maximum temperature of 48 degrees Celsius was recorded in Khammam on Saturday. The other recordings were: Adilabad 45, Hakimpet 41, Hanamkonda 46, Hyderabad 43.6, Mahabubnagar 43, Medak 42, Nalgonda 47, Nizamabad 46.5 and Ramagundam 46.8.
In Andhra Pradesh, severe heat wave will continue for two more days in many parts of East & West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore and in some parts of Kurnool and Kadapa districts, besides Chittoor and in most places in Telangana, the Met Office report said on Saturday.

The Met office forecast isolated rain or thundershowers in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday and dry weather in Telangana. It said isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. On May 26, rain or thundershowers will occur at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur in Telangana and Rayalaseema and Andhra Pradesh on May 27.
