Dy CM slams media for vilifying Nizam rule

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali on Tuesday slammed a section of media for carrying out vilification campaign against Nizam rule. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday evening, Mahamood Ali rebutted the arguments that the Telangana State was still suffering from hangover of Nizam rule.

He said the TS government had sought loan from the World Bank to launch more development works. He found fault with a report in a section of the Press that though there was backwardness in a couple of districts during the Nizam rule, it cannot be attributed to entire region, he said.
