GHMC calls for bus bays tenders

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) called for tenders for construction of five foot-over-bridges/subways and 103 bus bays to make Hyderabad a signal-free city at a cost of Rs 9.18 crore.The foot over-bridges will be constructed at Muffakham Jah Engineering College, Shamshabad bus stop, IS Sadan, Santosh Nagar, Nehru Zoological Park and National Police Academy at a cost of Rs 4.03 lakh. Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) called for tenders for construction of five foot-over-bridges/subways and 103 bus bays to make Hyderabad a signal-free city at a cost of Rs 9.18 crore.The foot over-bridges will be constructed at Muffakham Jah Engineering College, Shamshabad bus stop, IS Sadan, Santosh Nagar, Nehru Zoological Park and National Police Academy at a cost of Rs 4.03 lakh. GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar said construction of bus bays at different locations in all the 18 circles totaling 103 numbers would be taken up at a cost of Rs 5.15 crore and the tender process was in progress and the work would be taken up very soon.
