Govt keen on reviving Sirpur Paper Mills. The Telangana State government has shifted its attention to reopen Sirpur Paper Mills in Kagaznagar. A high-level meeting was held in this regard on Friday in which Ministers Harish Rao, Naini Narasimha Reddy, Jogu Ramanna and Indrakaran Reddy besides senior officials, bankers and a few industrialists took part.
Hyderabad: The Telangana State government has shifted its attention to reopen Sirpur Paper Mills in Kagaznagar. A high-level meeting was held in this regard on Friday in which Ministers Harish Rao, Naini Narasimha Reddy, Jogu Ramanna and Indrakaran Reddy besides senior officials, bankers and a few industrialists took part.

They discussed about all the issues including financial woes plaguing the unit. With the existing management not keen on running the mill, government was trying to rope in a few industrialists to take over the responsibility.
The private players wanted to know about the encouragement from government’s end to anyone showing interest. The Ministers decided to hold another round of meeting on September 24. The officials and bankers were told to furnish all details including the financial matters by next meet.
