The party delegation led by its President L Ramana met the DGP at the latter’s chambers and submitted a memorandum urging him to arrest all those responsible for the brawl between TRS and TDP cadre in Palakurthi in Warangal district.
They alleged that the Deputy Chief Minister and Education minister K Srihari has been instigating the TDP workers during his frequent visits to the town. The party leaders alleged the Minister was behind the attack on TDP workers.
The TDP leaders also brought to the notice of the DGP that some police officials in the district were supporting the ruling TRS leaders who resorted to extortion. The leaders submitted photos of the injured persons undergoing medical treatment in different hospitals in Warangal and Hyderabad.
