Police, forensic experts working in tandem to stitch the case based on clues

Warangal: The police and the forensic experts are trying to stitch together the case of the mysterious death of ex MP Siricilla Rajaiah’s daughter-in-law and his grandchildren basing on clues.

Forensic experts examined for the second time on Friday the second floor of the building where the charred dead bodies of Sarika and her children were found. They searched for additional clues which could help crack the mystery of the fire that had erupted, leading to Sarika and her children being burnt alive.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Shobhan Kumar said all the samples collected at the scene of the offence and viscera of the bodies had been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory in Hyderabad. The cause of the fire that charred Sarika and her children would be conclusively established only after the Forensic Laboratory gave the report, he said.

It could take at least a week before the report came, he said. Sana, who reportedly was having extra-marital relationship with Sarika’s husband S Anil Kumar, was named in the complaint lodged by Sarika’s parents with Subedari police. She was held responsible for Sarika’s death along with the trio, Rajaiah, his wife and their son.
