Actor Prakash Raj vows to develop village
Film actor Prakash Raj, who adopted a village in the district, said on Sunday that he would endeavour for all-round development of Kondareddypalli in the district. He adopted the village.
Mahbubnagar: Film actor Prakash Raj, who adopted a village in the district, said on Sunday that he would endeavour for all-round development of Kondareddypalli in the district. He adopted the village.
He attended a meeting organised by Kondareddypalli villagers. Addressing a meeting on the occasion, Prakash Raj said he had gathered information about the problems being faced by the village. The actor said he had visited every ward in the village and had first hand information.
His first priority would be construction of toilets in the village, he said, adding that the village would be developed as a model village within six months. He asked the villagers not to waste even a drop of water and take measures to preserve it.
Another task in the development of the village was to make it as a plastic free village, Prakas Raj said. Village Sarpanch P Raju, Deputy Sarpanch Srinivas, ZPTC membr Palle Narsing Rao, TDP leader Anant Kumar, former Sarpanch Padmanabh Rao, ward members and village youth participated in the meeting.
