JEE Main on April 3
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued notification for the Joint Entrance Examination- Main- 2016.
Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued notification for the Joint Entrance Examination- Main- 2016. The offline, which is pen and paper examination, will be held on April 3 in two sessions i.e. Paper 1 (BE/B Tech) from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and paper II (B Arch/B Planning) from 2 pm to 5 pm. Whereas, the online exam for Paper I will be held on April 9 and 10 in two shifts i.e. from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The aspiring candidates have to apply online through JEE-Main website www.jeemain.nic.in from December 1 to 31. While there has been demand from the student community to scrap 40 per cent Board weightage to the examination. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) had decided to continue the weightage. This means 40 per cent of the weightage will be given to Board and 60 per cent to the JEE- Main score.
