Yellandu civic chief, others to join TRS

Hyderabad: M Uma, Chairperson of Yellandu Municipality, said she would be joining the ruling TRS on November 28. She decided to join the TRS for the sake of development of the town.
Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswahar Rao led the team comprising MLA K Kanakaiah, former MLC Balashouri, Uma and her husband and others to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s at camp office on Thursday.
Talking to the media later, Uma said they decided to join the ruling party as they were attracted by the welfare schemes and development programs. Along with her, as many as 20 councillors and MPTCs are likely to join the TRS.
