Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s efforts to build a Telangana Bhavan for the pilgrims visiting Sabarimala temple, the Abode of Ayyappa Swami, in Kerala fructified.

Kerala government on Wednesday allocated five acres of land to the TS government for the construction of the building at Nilakkal near Pamba River passing through the temple.

Earlier, the two States entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the presence of Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Telangana Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy.

The building will be equipped with vehicle parking, canteen and dormitory facilities for the visiting pilgrims. A special control room will be also be set up to provide information to the pilgrims.
