Sangareddy: The pink kites with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s photo have set the tone for Makar Sankranti this year. They have flooded the market not only in Hyderabad but also in the neighbouring districts.
The kites are made of plastic material with the Chief Minister’s pictures on it and “Jai Telangana” slogan underneath the pictures. The kites are priced at Rs 10 a piece and are available everywhere in Sangareddy.
The kites are made in Medak district by the supporters of the Chief Minister and are selling like hot cakes as the children are lapping them up.
