Go issued KTR gets MAUD portfolio
The state government issued a GO on Sunday allocating the portfolio of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development to K Tarakarama Rao.
Hyderabad: The state government issued a GO on Sunday allocating the portfolio of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development to K Tarakarama Rao. This would be in addition to the IT and Panchayat Raj portfolios KTR is presently holding. When this was announced at the Cabinet meeting here on Sunday, all the ministers congratulated KTR.
It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at an election meeting in Secunderabad announced that he would give the portfolio of MAUD to KTR since he had very well shouldered the entire responsibility of campaign for the GHMC polls and that he would transform the city into a truly global city.
