Banswada: The TRS Government would abide by its pre-poll promise to provide 12.5 per cent reservations to the Muslim minorities in the Telangana State and appointed the Sudheer Commission, said Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali here on Monday. He participated various development programs along with State Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that from the next academic year, 70 minority residential schools would be started in the Telangana State and one girl’s residential schools would be setup at Banswada to provide education to the minority students.

In his address, State Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that their government would work according to the aspiration of Telangana people and fulfill all the promises which were included in the TRS election manifesto. He said that government sanctioned ten lakh to each district to for Banjaras to celebrate Sant Sevalal Maharaj Jayanti festival.

The Ministers laid the foundation stone to the Shadikhana, Muslim Grave Yard and Vaikuntadamam at Banswada town. Later, they participated in SRNK Government Degree College anniversary celebrations and inaugurated the additional classrooms. The Zaheerabad MP BB Patil, District Collector Yogita Rana, Joint Collector Ravinder Reddy and others were present.
