He held a meeting with the coordination committee in his chamber at the Collectorate here on Friday to discuss about organising the SSC examinations and gave them suggestions.

He held a meeting with the coordination committee in his chamber at the Collectorate here on Friday to discuss about organising the SSC examinations and gave them suggestions.

About 185 exam centres were set up for 37,979 students, appearing for SSC examinations in the district. The collector directed the officials to make tight security arrangements and to implement section 144 in the places near the exam centres to conduct the exams in a peaceful environment. Mobile police and flying squads and a first-aid centre should be set up.

The officials told to give the schedule to the students much earlier so that they can reach the exam centres one hour before. They were also directed to run sufficient RTC buses during the dates and time of exams for the students and also to supply uninterrupted power. The Municipal Commissioner and Panchayat Raj officials must look after the arrangements of drinking water and maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy at the exam centres, ordered the Collector.

Lokesh Kumar advised the students not to believe rumors about the leakage of question papers and they were told to inform the SP and DEO immediately about these rumours. Trainee Collector Md Mushroff Ali Farooq, DEO N Rajesh, Deputy CEO Rajeshwari, Circle Inspector U Venkanna, TSRTC Project Officer PVR Sharma, SSC Examinations Convener Srinivas Rao, K Jay Raj and other officials were present.
