The TDP would be rebuilt in Telangana with the support of party cadre and it would bounce back in the days to come, asserted the party state working president A Revanth Reddy. Warangal: The TDP would be rebuilt in Telangana with the support of party cadre and it would bounce back in the days to come, asserted the party state working president A Revanth Reddy. Though the leaders left, the cadre was intact and with their help the party would regain its past glory, which was currently passing through tough times.
It was not new for the TDP to lose or win the elections, he said. Revanth Reddy addressed the party workers here on Saturday at the inaugural ceremony of the party’s new premises, raised on a leased land, in Hanamkonda on Saturday. Revanth said that Party meetings which hitherto have confined to leaders’ houses have now found a new address.
He also promised to dole out Rs 5 lakh for the proposed construction of a permanent building within a year. MP G Mohan Rao, district president Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, senior leaders Revuri Prakash Reddy, Seetakka and others attended the programme. Many senior leaders left the party for their selfish gains in the past three decades but their exit has not affected the party, he claimed while hitting out at Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari and E Dayakar Rao. He condemned their remarks that the TDP was dead in Telangana.
Both Srihari and Dayakar Rao would damage the TRS as they did with the TDP, he remarked. Referring to the comments by Dayakar Rao and Srihari against the TDP, Seetakka felt that they were in a state of moral bankruptcy. They both built up their political careers, enjoyed power and positions in the TDP and now criticising the same party.
It reveals their lack of character, she said. District president Satyanarayana Rao and all other leaders, who addressed the gathering, have condemned the remarks made against the TDP by the leaders, who deserted the party in recent times.
