TRS activists erupt in joy over party victory
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi cadres celebrated the party’s decisive victory in Warangal, Khammam and Achhampet municipal elections on Wednesday. The TRS leaders and activists led by district TRS president Eega Gangareddi. burst crackers and distributed sweets at the TRS office in the town.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganga Reddy expressed his gratitude to the people for giving a major victory to the TRS in the municipal elections. He said Telangana people reposed their complete faith in the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and gave a decisive mandate in all municipal elections, like Warangal, GHMC and Khammam.
He said the Telangana State government entered into an agreement with the Maharashtra government on the utilisation of Godavari River waters. He said that it was a great victory and gave a clear signal to the Telangana people about the working style of the TRS government.
He said that the agreement with Maharashtra was a great boon to the farmers of the State and they need not despair. He said that the barren lands would become fertile and would prevent the suicide of farmers. With these and the upcoming projects, the Telangana people could get water for irrigating nearly one crore acres of land, he added.
The TRS activists erupted in joy and raised slogans in support of the TRS government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. TRS politburo member A. S. Poshetty, TRSy leader Ravinder Reddy and large number of party activists took part in the celebrations.
