Congress leader Jeevan Reddy slams KCR over pact with Maharashtra

While the Telangana pact with Maharashtra over the sharing of the Godavari water and building barrages is generating a positive response in the state, Congress legislator Jeevan Reddy, slammed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for mortgaging Telangana to Maharashtra with the agreements.

Pointing out at the Pranahita and Thummala projects, Jeevan Reddy said that KCR had not even consulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi or send a delegation to the Centre in order to get an approval for the projects. The Congress legislator even castigated Irrigation Minister Harish Rao over the latter's remarks on Congress party not being able to do anything for the people despite its 10 years of rule.
