Hyderabad: Joint Action Committee for Social Justice in the University of Hyderabad has called for nation-wide protest on Monday to protest against police brutality on students. The JAC also called for boycott of classes in all campuses across the country and public protests at Ambedkar statues.
It stated, in a press release on Sunday, said the students and faculty were being falsely implicated in cases. It also demanded withdrawal of forces from the campus and immediate removal and arrest of the Vice Chancellor under the Prevention of Atrocities Act.
