1.25 lakh candidates write Polycet

​Hyderabad: As many as 97.35 per cent candidates had appeared for the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (Polycet). While 1,27,972 candidates had registered for entrance test, 1,24,584 appeared at 288 centres across the state on Thursday.

A total of 53,870 seats in 28 branches of diploma engineering are up for the grab in 220 polytechnic colleges in the state. The results will be declared within two week period and counselling would commence in the third week of May. The class work would commence in second week of June.
