Majeed Ullah Khan alias Farhat Khan, son of late Aman Ullah Khan ex-MLA and founding president of Majlis Bachao Tehreek, was elected President with majority support at a day long meeting with party workers and supporters. The seat had become vacant with the sudden demise of its former president Dr. Khayam Khan.

Hyderabad: Majeed Ullah Khan alias Farhat Khan, son of late Aman Ullah Khan ex-MLA and founding president of Majlis Bachao Tehreek, was elected President with majority support at a day long meeting with party workers and supporters. The seat had become vacant with the sudden demise of its former president Dr. Khayam Khan.

The meeting conducted under the supervision of a 9 member core committee of senior MBT leaders was held at Mehdi Function Hall near Dabeerpura Bridge. The new President thanked the gathering for reposing faith in him and said he will ensure that the party is always committed to work for social justice on behalf of the poor and downtrodden masses. He further added that he would ensure that MBT continues to fight against any injustices done to the community at any level.
