In order to create awareness about the electoral process of the country, Bhagavathi School conducted a secret ballot to elect the Head Boy and Head Girl of the school for the year 2016-17.
Karimnagar: In order to create awareness about the electoral process of the country, Bhagavathi School conducted a secret ballot to elect the Head Boy and Head Girl of the school for the year 2016-17.
The students contested for the posts selected a year before i.e. in class IX. Three boys...A Sai Vishwanth Lal, B Santhosh, K Sai Teja and three girls....S Akshitha, A Sai Praneetha, and M Dharani stood for the election.
Three boys and three girls from three groups...Agni, Trisul, and Prithvi were selected for the contest. They explained the students about what they would do if they were elected in the contest.
B Ramana Rao, founder of the school said that the students should elect a suitable leader by exercising their vote.
A capable leader only would develop the nation, he added. The elected candidates would be announced after counting.
