Ganesh Shobha Yatra held

Sadashivnagar (Nizamabad): The Ganesh Nimajjana Shobha Yatra passed off peacefully in Ramareddy village in Sadashivnagar mandal on Wednesday. Huge processions passed through the main streets with the Ganesh idols. Large number of people took part in dancing and sang songs by beating drums with gay abandon.

Women performed pooja by breaking of coconuts. Sub-Inspector of Police and his team of police officials beefed up the security. Similarly, another Shobha Yatra as also organised in Birkoor mandal headquarters. The Ganesh idols were taken around the streets in tractors. Youth took part in the Kollatam and Dandiya dance.
