Hyderabad: The spring festival celebrated in honour of Goddess Gauri saw thousands of people flocking to Tank Bund to take part in the celebrations.
While women including foreigners clad in traditional attire danced around Bathukammas, folk dancers grooved to rhythmic drum beats, singing songs and clapping their hands.
A ceremonial parade was organised on the Tank Bund on Sunday, with thousands of women and folk artistes exhibiting art forms of the region.
The entire stretch of Tank Bund wore a festive look with several foreign nationals participating in the event.
