13-member TS team for Children’s Science Congress

The child scientists from the State will be competing with around 650 scientific projects coming from all over India and also from certain SAARC and ASEAN countries. The child scientists would present their projects before eminent scientists and academicians, while interacting with them.
Hyderabad: A 13-member delegation of child scientists from Telangana State will be participating in a five-day National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) to be held at Bramati in Maharashtra from Tuesday.
The child scientists from the State will be competing with around 650 scientific projects coming from all over India and also from certain SAARC and ASEAN countries. The child scientists would present their projects before eminent scientists and academicians, while interacting with them.
The State delegation is being led by Y. Nagesh Kumar, Member Secretary, Telangana State Council of Science & Technology. The National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) is intended to provide child scientists a unique opportunity to present their investigatory projects and interact with eminent scientists, thereby creating in them a zeal for entering the exciting world of Science & Technology.
The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has announced ‘Science, Technology & Innovation for Sustainable Development - With Special emphasis on Accessibility for Persons with Disability’ as the focal theme for the 24th NCSC 2016.
