Khammam: Communist Party of India (CPI) district council secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao has said their party would hit back to prominence despite the setbacks it received in last few years.

Addressing a party meeting here on Sunday, he said efforts were on to organise the party’s 91st Formation Day on a grand note on Monday. “Party’s representation in the Legislative houses at the Centre and State may have gone down, but the spirit is still there to fight against the anti-people policies of ruling parties,” Rao said. He said CPI would hit back to its erstwhile fame by building people-based movements and exposing the misdeeds of the Centre and State governments. He called upon cadres to make the party Formation Daya huge success.
