Peddireddy has won the election for the second consecutive year over Nayani. In all, 460 candidates exercised their franchise in the elections. While Peddireddy got 196 votes, Nayani, who contested on the plank of HMS Union, got 191 votes. Kuna Srisailam Goud, who contested the election as INTUC candidate, got only 65 votes.    

Hyderabad: The TNTUC (affiliated to TDP) candidate E Peddireddy has won the Mahindra Laser Blades Company Union elections held here on Sunday with a majority of five votes against Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy.
