Kavitha briefs Governor on Scouts & Guides
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP and Bharat Scouts and Guides Chief Commissioner K Kavitha on Monday called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Monday. She submitted a report of victories achieved by the Scouts and Guides during 2016-17. Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP and Bharat Scouts and Guides Chief Commissioner K Kavitha on Monday called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Monday. She submitted a report of victories achieved by the Scouts and Guides during 2016-17. She urged the Governor to offer priority and benefits to the students, who took the Scouts and Guides training, in competitive examinations and government jobs on par with that of NCC and NSS cadets.
Kavitha appreciated the services of the Scouts and Guides during the period of Emergency. As the Chief Commissioner, Kavitha attended the State Council meeting of the Scouts and Guides at Domalguda earlier. She said the Governor was the patron and president of the Scouts and Guides. She appealed the government to introduce Scouts and Guides training in government and residential schools.
