Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday hailed India\'s unanimous election as the President of UN-Habitat.  KCR hoped that the country\'s prestige would be enhanced under the leadership of Union Urban Development and Housing Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, who will preside over the deliberations of the Governing Council of UN-Habitat. 

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday hailed India's unanimous election as the President of UN-Habitat.

KCR hoped that the country's prestige would be enhanced under the leadership of Union Urban Development and Housing Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, who will preside over the deliberations of the Governing Council of UN-Habitat.

The Chief Minister expressed the hope that under Venkaiah Naidu's leadership attempts would be made to make everyone in the world to get a decent habitat, according to a release from the Chief Minister's Office.
