Tandur (Vikarabad): Peddemul Sub-inspector Venkata Sreenu said the traders licences would be cancelled and they will be sent to imprisonment if found selling spurious seeds and fertilisers.

He made this warning when raids were conducted on some shops in the town on Wednesday. On the occasion, he asked the traders to inform farmers on the precautions to be taken while spraying insecticides to the crops. He said the traders should give receipts to farmers for their purchases.
