Hyderabad: Finance Minister Etala Rajender and BC Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna have informed that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao would launch the scheme for the upliftment of Most Backward Classes (Rajakas and Nayi Brahmin).

Speaking to press persons at the Telangana Secretariat on Monday, the Ministers said that the State Government has already allocated Rs. 500 crores for the welfare of Rajakas and Nayi Brahmins in the State. He said the community members would be provided with modern equipments for continuing their family professions.

To bring awareness on the modern equipment and for the selection of machinery, the government will be organising the exhibition for Rajakas on July 31 and within one week for Nayi Brahmins.

The Finance Minister said that State Government would increase the amount for welfare of both the communities as and when required.
