Navdeep quizzed for 11 hrs
Tollywood actor P Navdeep was questioned for over eleven hours over his alleged links with Calvin Mascrenhas, an event manager and musician, on whose mobile phone call records of the actor were found be more recurring than others.

During the interrogation which started at 10.30 am continued till 10 pm, Navdeep, it is learnt, has denied his connection with drugs. He told the officers that many people come to his pub and they might have exchanged drugs but he is not aware of it.
During the interrogation, he admitted that Calvin and others arranged parties at the pub. The officials confronted him with the evidence that they had collected, including the call data records and some photographs. Following this, he is learnt to have given some important clues to the SIT.
The SIT officials collected his blood, hair and nail samples which would be sent to forensic laboratory.
Later speaking to media, the actor denied links with drug peddlers and said that the examination was fruitful and the officials got clarity over his alleged role.
“They sought information over alleged links with event manager. I disclosed everything, during the examination. Everything is ok now,” said Navdeep.
