Telangana is under Police Raj: BJP
State BJP President D. K. Lakshman alleged that the Telangana was under the Police Raj.
Hyderabad: State BJP President D. K. Lakshman alleged that the Telangana was under the Police Raj.
Speaking to media persons in Siddipet on Tuesday, Lakshman said that the police did several atrocities on Dalits in Sircilla, the constituency represented by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's son and IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao. He said the villagers who raised their voice against sand mafia were tortured in illegal police custody. He said at three persons suffered damage to their kidneys due to third degree torture by the police.
Lakshman said by not taking action against the guilty cops, KCR Government has unleashed Police Raj in the State. He said Sand Mafia, Drugs Mafia and Land Mafia were strengthened under the TRS Rule.
He expressed confidence that the BJP would win Assembly elections in Telangana in 2019. He also informed that BJP National President Amit Shah would soon visit Telangana to strengthen the party in the State.
