Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would present medals and awards with cash prize to officials from the police and other departments, educational institutions and literary persons on the eve of Independence Day Celebrations.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would present medals and awards with cash prize to officials from the police and other departments, educational institutions and literary persons on the eve of Independence Day Celebrations.
The Chief Secretary S P Singh said here on Sunday the Chief Minister would decorate the police personnel with medals and felicitate other individuals and award cash prize to certain personnel from various department for their exemplary services in various fields.
Accordingly, the Chief Minister would present President’s Police Medals to Additional DGP, Law and Order Anjani Kumar, Director General of Fire Services Rajiv Ratan, Officer on Special Duty and DIG of Vigilance and Enforcement N Suryanarayana, Additional Commissioner of Police (CAR Head Quarters) M Shiva Prasad. Under the Telangana State Incentive Awards (TSIA), the Chief Minister would present awards to Dr J Ramesh, Deputy District Medical and Health Official, Armoor, Nizamabad.
From the Group I officials, Dr Ch Madhusudhan, Associate Professor from Osmania Medical College, Suresh Babu, DPO, Siddipet and P W Johnson from DRDO, Vikarabad would be presented awards.
Also, the State government had announced to present awards to popular Telugu lyricists Suddala Ashok Teja and Jaya Raj and also a Telugu and Sanskrit Scholar Bhashyam Vijayasarathi during the Independence Day celebrations, the Chief Secretary said.
Similarly, the Telangana State Residential School for Girls, Tatipally of Mallial mandal from Jagtial district and Zilla Parishad School, Mirdapally of Armoor mandal from Nizamabad district would be presented awards for their performance.
