Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao on Saturday launched the renovation works of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Nagaram under Konaraopet mandal in Rajanna-Sircilla District.

It may be noted here that Endowments department had sanctioned Rs 36 lakh under common good funds (CGF) for the development of the temple. On the occasion, Rao released ‘History of Raja Rajeshwara Temple’ book authored by Jaishetty Ramanaiah.
Finance Minister E Rajender, local MLA Ch Ramesh Babu, MP B Vinod Kumar, Collector Krishna Bhaskar, ZP chairperson Tula Uma, GMR Groups Supremo G Mallikarjan Rao, MY Homes Rameshwar Rao were among others present.
