One killed, 23 injured in road mishap

A TSRTC bus met with an accident on Friday when it rammed into a parked car in Nirmal district. The incident took place at Dyangapur of Sarangpur mandal after the bus driver reportedly dozed off at the wheel.

Following which, the bus hit the parked car on the road resulting in the vehicle getting overturned. According to the reports, a two-wheeler also got crushed under the bus.

One passenger was killed in the accident and 23 others sustained severe injuries. A kid who was injured in the mishap is said to be in a critical condition and is being shifted to Hyderabad.
