KTR inaugurates 'Impasto Expression' painting-cum-art exhibition
A painting-cum-art exhibition, Impasto Expressions, was inaugurated by IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao at International Art Gallery in Jubilee Hills on Friday.
Hyderabad: A painting-cum-art exhibition, Impasto Expressions, was inaugurated by IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao at International Art Gallery in Jubilee Hills on Friday.
The exhibition will be open between 5 pm and 7 pm on Friday and from 10 am to 7 pm on all other days from October 14 to 20. All art connoisseurs are welcome to visit the exhibition.
Impasto Expressions is a solo art show by renowned Architect Ashok Kumar Guda. This is the maiden art show being organized by Ashok Kumar, where he would showcase over 30 different paintings.
Ashok Kumar’s artworks predominantly are sculptures within paintings. So, one can touch them to feel as they will experience the sculptures. He blends gesso, which is a thick paste of clay, with white cement that becomes the medium of the painting. He chisels out the carving with the help of palette knives multiple sizes.
Ashok’s professional mastery in architecture obviously makes him a natural artist.
