Khammam: Bahujana Left Front (BLF) convenor Nunna Nageswar Rao here on Wednesday warned that the TRS leaders may face losses in the next elections if they failed to fulfil the people’s aspirations.

BLF leaders and activists took out a massive rally from Pavilion Grounds to the District Collectorate and staged a sit-in at Dharna Chowk in front of the District Collectorate demanding that the government to redress grievances of the people. They also demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao fulfil election promsies.

Speaking on the occasion, Nageshwar Rao alleged that the TRS government had failed in addressing the various issues in Khammam city such as construction of railway bridge at Mammillagudem, underground drainage system in all the divisions, allotment of Indiramma house sites and independent 2BHK houses to the homeless poor, besides providing other basic facilities.

Roads and Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and local MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar had promised to ensure that 2,000 double bedroom houses would be constructed in Khammam constituency. But 216 double bedroom houses were constructed so far, he alleged.

He accused the TRS leaders of not addressing the drinking water problems. He demanded that the TRS government solve the various issues being faced by the people.

BLF leaders Ponnam Venkateshwar Rao, Afroz Semeen, Macharla Bharati, Y Srikanth, Y Srinivas Rao, T Lingaiah, B Yakaiah, S K Imaam, V Srinivas Rao, S K Babu, Venkanna, S Sudheer, P Upendra Chary, Hanumantha Chary, S Veera Babu, Veerabhadram, B Srinivas Rao, P Sulochana, S K Kulsana Begum, Shankar Prasad, K Babu and Bhukya Upendar Naik were present at the programme.
