Karimnagar: “Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to keep a check on the monarchism of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his dictatorship ruling. Manakodur is going to become a stepping stone for such a good cause for the wellbeing of Telangana people,” said BJP State president Dr Laxman during Jana Chaitanya Yatra that entered Karimnagar district on Wednesday.

Party leaders gave a grand welcome to the Jana Chaitanya Yatra, which is aimed to meet public and motivate them on various schemes being implemented by the Central government. Leaving differences within them and within the party, all the leaders of the party took out a massive bike rally and procession from Bommakal to Manakondur via Karimnagar. Folk artistes played drums along the rally.

Speaking at the meeting, BJP State president Laxman said the main purpose of conducting Jana Chaitanya Yatra across the State is to bring a change in governance as per the aspirations of Telangana people. The TRS party and its leaders are deceiving the people with fake promises and useless schemes. All the development being portrayed by the government is on papers only and there is no real development. With mesmerising words, the TRS leaders are trying cheat the people of Telangana, he criticised.

Chief Minister KCR has been claiming all beneficial schemes of the Centre as his own but in fact all the development that took place in the State was because of the central funds. People are watching every move of the TRS government and are ready to teach a lesson to the TRS in coming up elections, he pointed out.
