Hyderabad : Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao instructed the officials concerned to commence immediately the programme of schemes aimed at providing financial assistance to BCs, MBCs for starting self-employment schemes. CM also said that from that from next academic year 119 BC Residential schools in addition to the existing once are to be started at the rate one for each assembly segment.

The Chief Minister also said that the Harithaharam programme should be taken on a massive scale and to go for plantation of 100 crore saplings every year and for this nurseries are to be maintained in every village. CM expressed happiness and satisfaction for 19.83 percent growth rate of Telangana State revenues during the first quarter of 2018-19 financial year. The CM held review meetings on various issues in Pragathi Bhavan on friday afternoon.

Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari, Ministers Etala Rajendra, C. Laxma Reddy, JoguRamanna, Chief Advisor to Government Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary SK. Joshi, Principal Secretaries Rama Krishna Rao, Shanthi Kumari, Burra Venkatesham, Secretary Bhoopal Reddy, Rajashekhar Reddy, Govt Whip PallaRajeshwar Reddy, MLA Prabhakar Reddy and others participated.

Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary will hold a meeting on schemes of BCs on Saturday.

The Chief Minister asserted that the government is ready to go ahead with the report submitted by the Cabinet Sub Committee on implementation of self-employment schemes for BCs and MBCs. He has instructed the officials to implement schemes worth of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh per unit as a grant and without any bank linkage. He instructed the Ministers and officials to hold a meeting with the Legislative Assembly Speaker to finalize the strategy for implementation of welfare schemes for BCs and MBCs on Saturday.

Residential School in every Mandal

The Chief Minister said that schools for SC, ST, BCs and Minorities are functioning excellently. The government has a goal of establishing a residential school in every mandal. To achieve this, the government is increasing the number of schools in a phased manner. By next year 119 new residential schools one in every assembly constituency will be established.

High level Review on Harithaharam today

KCR has decided to hold a High-level Review meeting in Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday afternoon on implementation of Harithaharamprogramme, strategy to be finalised for the implementation of Haritharamprogramme for the next year. Ministers and officials of Forest, Panchayat Raj, Municipal Departments will participate in the programme. CM also said that a plan to be finalized for plantation of 100 crore saplings from next year and for this number of nurseries are to be increased.

19.83% growth rate in first quarter

The officials have informed the Chief Minister that Telangana government has achieved 19.83 per cent growth rate of revenues during the first quarter of 2018-19 financial year.

In the last four financial years the Telangana state has registered highest revenue growth in the country and it is a positive dimension for the state as it is growing even in 2018-19. In first quarter of the financial year 2017-18 the State has achieved revenue of Rs 13,374.25 Crore. In first quarter of the financial year 2018-19 the state has achieved revenue of Rs 16,026.63 Crore.
