Mahbubnagar: Former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy here on Wednesday said the TRS government had launched schemes only to gain publicity. He accused the government of failing to implement any scheme properly.

Jaipal Reddy visited visited Narayanpet and held the party meeting at the Congress party office in the constituency. TPCC leader Murali Krishna, constituency in-charge Saraf Krishna, Veerareddy, district Congress Committee president and other leaders from Narayanpet took part in the meeting.

While speaking on the occasion, Jaipal Reddy said from the very beginning the Chief Minister and his party men had focussed their attention on how to loot the State and its resources.

They had never made an effort to help the poor and the downtrodden. thought truly to benefit the poor and downtrodden. “What KCR and his government doing in the State are just launching dabba schemes and trying to get more publicity for less work. It was the Congress party which had waived more than Rs 70,000 crore of farm loans.

What KCR had done is nothing but got publicity and even today the farm loans of many farmers are still pending without being waived,” he said. Stating that the wind is blowing in favour of the Congress party, Jaipal Reddy predicted that the people of Telangana had understood the nefarious designs of KCR and now realised that the Congress is the only party that can work for the poor and downtrodden and for the all-round development.

“In the upcoming Assembly elections, I am sure the Congress party will win all the 14 Assembly seats in the district,” he predicted while speaking to the media in Narayanpet.
