Rowdy-sheeter stabs TV channel chairman’s son

• 19-year-old Zaid Yamani undergoes surgery at Owaisi Hospital
• Zaid and rowdy-sheeter Habeeb wear engaged in fight over locking of eyes ‘staring at each other’

Chandrayangutta: Zaid Yamani, son of Real Ruby Channel, Sharif Abdul Rahim Yamani based in Mir Chowk was allegedly attacked with a ‘sharp weapon’ by Rowdy-sheeter Habeeb Talha under Chandrayangutta police station limits on Monday night.

It is believed that Habeeb attacked following locking of eyes (staring each other) with Zaid Yamani.

The rowdy-sheeter allegedly attacked the 19-year-old victim within no time, owing to continuous staring. Without knowing the antecedents of accused, he came across him in Bandlaguda area.

He remains wanted in all the three police Commissionerate limits. The victim was immediately rushed to Owaisi Hospital and has undergone surgery on his back.

According to police, the incident took place on Monday night. As per the complaint lodged by Faisal Yamani they began investigation.

The accused Habeeb Talha is wanted in several cases for the past 2 years.

On the night of attack also he escaped from the place after injuring Zaid.

“The victim was admitted to Owaisi Hospital and remains out of danger. He received injuries on hand and backside.

We are investigating the case and more details will be revealed,” said S Naveen, Inspector, Chandrayangutta police station.
