Bizman garlands Goddess Durga with currency notes

Kodad (Suryapet): Showing devotion to the Goddess Kanaka Durga on the eve of Devi Navaratrulu of Dussehra festival, owner of Maha Lakshmi Metal and Fancy stores decorated the dais and idol of Goddess Kanaka Durga installed in Vasavi temple in the town with garlands of currency notes of Rs 6.5 lakh.
The garlands is made of notes of Rs 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 2,000 denominations. Large number of devotees visited the temple to see the Kanakadurga appeared in Mahalakshmi incarnation decorated with currency note garlands.
