Metro power lines inspected on Ameerpet-Hitec City route for trial runs

To commence the trail run operations, the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) has inspected the overhead power lines of metro on Ameerpet-Hitec City route on Tuesday using Cantilevel Maintenance Vehicle (CMV) to detect any snags.

As the date of metro launch in the route is around the corner, the HMR has speeded up the works.

It may be recalled that IT minister KTR said that metro operations between Ameerpet and Hitec City will be commenced from November 23 or 24. On the other hand, a deadline for the completion of metro works at the route has been set up by Governor ESL Narasimhan. The deadline is December 15.
